Art that speaks without words

About Abyflare

My art has always been deeply personal.

My works speak about things I cannot say out loud. Things I cannot write about.
My visual language is the only space where I am able to share what lives inside me.

I use a lot of symbolism and often hide the darkest meanings behind “tinsel” — as if you were looking at the world through a layer of anesthesia.

In my works, you see my story. But as I said, I am not ready to write or speak about it directly.
If you understand what I am talking about through my art, then we are speaking the same language.

I do not want to impose my interpretation on the viewer.
You have never lived through what I lived through, and I have never lived your life. We will never see the same thing — even when looking at the same artwork.

I believe I have no right to take away or destroy your perception with long, sentimental explanations.

Painting, sculpture, animation, installation — all of this is visual art. And in my opinion, it should be experienced through what is seen, not what is read.
